About Kuratd Studio

Kuratd Studio was founded by Amie, after being diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis in 2021 following a laparoscopy.

It took over 15 years for Amie to be taken seriously, years of being told the pain was “normal” or “in her head.” Like so many women, she experienced first-hand how misunderstood and under-recognised endometriosis can be.

At the time, it still felt like a taboo subject, something rarely spoken about openly. Today, Kuratd exists to change that.

With nearly 20 years’ experience in fashion buying, Amie knew how clothing should fit, feel and function. But when it came to living with endometriosis, she found herself unable to wear denim at all, one of the most everyday staples.

That frustration became the starting point.

Kuratd Studio was created to rethink denim, designing pieces that work with the body, not against it. Combining considered design with comfort and functionality, each piece is built to support women through the realities of living with endometriosis.

But Kuratd is more than a product.

It’s a platform for awareness, a space for conversation, and a growing community of women who understand what it means to live with this condition.

Since launching just over a year ago, Kuratd Studio has reached nearly 5 million people, built a community of over 500 women, and hosted events across the UK and New York, creating spaces where women can connect, share and feel supported.

This is just the beginning.

Kuratd Studio exists to challenge the silence, support women through every stage of their journey, and create clothing that finally works for them.
